This December, the Reboli Center for Art and History officially opened in the historic Stony Brook district, just moments from The Hamlet Estates at St. James.
The Reboli Center was founded in honor of famed Stony Brook painter Joseph Reboli, who passed away in 2004. Best known for revealing the magnificence in the mundane through oil paintings of everyday objects and local landscapes, Reboli’s work embodies the subtle beauty of this quiet Long Island town.
At the Reboli Center, visitors can tour an extensive collection of Joseph Reboli’s work, as well as pieces from his peers and historical exhibits about Long Island. In addition to preserving Joseph Reboli’s legacy, the Reboli Center’s goal is to promote the arts in Suffolk County.
